About Google, Chrome Web-Browser and Chrome OS
As we know Google is the #1 search engine in the world and Google have the tough competition with the same field companies on web. But Google always move ahead to stay in this competition by launching various products, softwares and gadgets which most includes free downloadable softwares, system tools, web applications and official useful softwares such as Google Docs, Google Chrome, Google System Updater, Google Talk, Google Earth and many.
Recently, Google has finished their new project of Google Chrome Linux Based Operating system. Actual announcement of Google Chrome OS was on 07 July 2007 by Google. Then, Google made this project as an open source which called Chromium OS, in November 2007.
Then, Google released first Beta version download kit of Google Chrome web-browser for Microsoft Windows users on 02 September 2008. Chrome browser's Public Stable Copy was released on 11 December 2008 with the name of as Google Chrome Web-browser. The name, "Chrome" is derived from the graphical user interface frame or say "Web-Browsers Chrome". Now Google's new operating system will have the same name of their web-browser i.e. Google Chrome OS.
